Steven Zale has spent over 30 years designing fine jewelry with a passion for creating designs that “Make a Statement.” Steven is known as the designing and marketing force behind many of the most popular and prominent brands in the world today. His timeless, rich designs reflect uniqueness, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that have earned him the most prestigious awards worldwide. Some of his accolades and awards include his Demeter® Colored Stone Necklaces on the Red Carpet for the 2011-2014 Academy Awards, 2009-2014 U.S. Commerce Design Awards, 2008 Forbes Designer of the Year and two DeBeers “Designer of the Year” awards. Steven’s designs have been published in the most influential publications worldwide including Vogue, Harper Bazaar, JCK, Lustre, In Style, Seventeen, JQ, Cosmopolitan, Modern Jeweler, Jewelry Couture, Millionaire, Valley, Trends & Colours, Engagement Magazine, Fine Interiors and DuPont Registry.
Steven has been an expert on design, manufacturing and retail marketing for The World Gold Council of South East Asia, Diamond Promotion Service, PNJ of Vietnam and ASJ of Thailand.
Steven has been recently featured on the cover of Opportunist Magazine, Stock Radio, Small Cap Voice, Fox Business News and the reality show, “The Housewives of Atlanta TV Reality Shows.”
Raymond Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer
Raymond is a graduate from the California State University at Long Beach with a B.S. in Business. Raymond worked for 12 years in the fashion industry – manufacturing women’s knitwear, jewelry and accessories for distribution to National Chains (Nordstrom, Saks, and Neiman Marcus). Raymond’s last position was Director of Mexico Operations for St. John Knits, where he was instrumental in establishing 120,000 sq. ft. jewelry and knit clothing manufacturing facility in Mexico. Raymond was responsible for developing qualified vendors and ensuring they were in compliance with the company quality and international labor standards. From 2005 and currently Ray has been a part of the Zalemark team with special detail on quality control, logistics, merchandising, and compliance.
Jeffrey Ringer, Executive Vice President of Marketing
Jeffrey has been a marketing visionary for over 30 years. As the Founder of several successful marketing companies, and the owner of Virtual Concepts Corp., he has been responsible for the development and implementation of hundreds of advertising and marketing programs. This success has created millions of dollars in revenues for a variety of industries ranging from entertainment to technology and many consumer brands and products that have made him and Virtual Concepts an icon across corporate America. Some of Virtual Concepts’ better known clients are Universal Studios, Paramount Studios, Warner Brothers, Park Place Properties, Century 21, Kelly Services, McDonald’s, The LA Times, The Marriott Corporation, Excelline Foods, USA Technologies, Axiom Foods, Litton, Lockheed, Roberto Coin, Gregg Ruth and Company, Dior, and University of Phoenix. Jeffrey attended The University of California, Los Angeles; California State University, Northridge; and Brooks Institute of Photography. He majored in Film and Television Production, Commercial Photography and Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising, Marketing and Business Administration
Caren Currier, Secretary
Caren started her professional career helping her father with his construction company. As she entered college, she was asked to do an internship with a CPA firm that handled numerous construction firms. This led her down the career path of construction accounting for over 25 years. When the construction industry became slow, she was able to take her accounting and job costing experience to the Biotech industry were she has been employed for the past three years prior to joining Zalemark.
Hie Su Moon, VP – Media Relations and Business Development
Hie Su Moon is an advertising veteran with 10 years of multi-platform advertising sales and marketing experience at companies including: Scripps Networks (foodnetwork, HGTV, DIY, Fineliving and GAC), Hachette Flipacchi (Elle, Car and Driver, Road and Track, Woman’s Day, etc…), MOG, About.com (NY Times), MediaBrix and Addition Inc. She also has 15 years of advertising agency experience at companies such as: Y&R, Wunderman Cato Johnson, McAdams Direct, Foote Cone and Belding, Beyond Interactive, Mediacom, and Initiative. Client experience is vast such as: Lexus, Toyota, Inifiniti, Nissan, Sony Electronics, t-Mobile, HTC, Adobe, Best Buy, Nestle, Nordstrom, Paramount Pictures, Fox Studios, SONY, Tillamook, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Gallo, Diageo, Citibank, Chase, Visa, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, etc… Hie Su has provided movie studios, auto, consumer package goods and retail brands with integration and business development opportunities, which include: media, marketing, licensing, and sales growth/projections.
